Rules for the "Requests From S-T-D Team" forum.

This forum will be highly moderated and unlike other S-T-D forums pointless, irrelevant and/or off-topic posts WILL be deleted.

The purpose of this forum is to give the S-T-D development team a place to request assistance from the S-T-D community as a whole. It is extremely complicated to open the development of a Live CD to the community due to the process of taking the source/bins and compiling them into an iso. As such, and as a first step/trial, the S-T-D Dev team will post to this forum with self contained requests for assistance. Credit will be given to any S-T-D users that complete one of the requests.

Only S-T-D Developers are allowed to request using this forum.

If you see a request that you believe you can help with then please help the S-T-D team by posting an offer of assistance.

If the request is for the development of a component that is to be included in either the S-T-D distro or website it is critical that the component be compliant with the GPL license. All scripts/progs etc must include source code or be natively viewable.

If you post to this forum offering to assist and subsequently (for whatever reason) decide that you will not be able to complete the request please post back saying so. We understand that circumstances change.

If multiple users reply with offers of assistance you have the choice of either independently following your own track or to use the forum PM to introduce yourself to the other user(s) and join forces.

Obviously quality is a key component in the S-T-D distro and as such the final decision on the introduction of the requested component rests of the S-T-D Dev team.
